Perhaps swayed by the ingenious “Coronado is Life” marketing campaign, Panamanians absolutely adore this nondescript beach town. It epitomizes the Panamanian vacation even though there’s nothing really there and the beach is sub-par. With soon-to-be three malls at the entrance off the Pan-American highway, Coronado will skyrocket in popularity becoming the place where not only the rich go to celebrate holidays, but also poor people and foreigners alike.

Yes Coronado is the most overrated beach I have ever visited. When the tide goes up, there is barely any beach left to walk on.
i have to agree with this one. this beach sucks
